The other day, the rain came raging down, and yesterday the whole earth was swept with wind so fierce that, as I walked through the neighborhood, it felt as though wings had been fastened to my back. And so today, when I entered the forest, the snow had vanished without a trace, and the trees—already drawing water upward—seemed to whisper that spring had quietly arrived. Only a few days ago, I tiptoed through these woods, careful with every step on the snow‑laden path, but today I stride forward with confidence. God sent the snow, and God, in His kindness, has swept it all clean.
