Today, we worshiped on Christmas Sunday. This year’s Christmas Sunday feels especially meaningful to me because it is the day I completed the first draft of the book on the Fourfold Gospel—a project I had postponed for quite some time. I originally agreed to write this book at the request of the Korean District Superintendent of our denomination many years ago, but due to online teaching responsibilities and my health issues, I kept delaying it.
Providentially, I was not assigned any online courses this term, which gave me the space to focus on writing. With the goal of finishing the manuscript by the end of this year, I devoted myself to it over the past month, often losing sleep, and was finally able to complete the draft. My heart feels light and joyful.
Moreover, because the book presents Jesus Christ as our Savior, our Sanctifier, our Healer, and our Coming King, I found myself continually meditating on Jesus throughout the writing process. It became the perfect way to prepare my heart for Christmas. I could not ask for anything better.
Lord, come quickly!
