It feels like only yesterday that I was walking through a forest blanketed in white, yet spring has slipped in like a thief. The deer that used to linger on the trail, unable to find food in the snow-covered woods, no longer come near; they’re too busy nibbling on the fresh green shoots sprouting everywhere. Even the turtles, which must have been hiding somewhere all winter, have crawled out and are basking lazily in the sun right in front of me. Ah, spring truly is the season when life stirs and awakens.
